1218 Quebec Church, Beauce Region, , 8x10, egg tempera

This is the first painting made using my newly gessoed batch of panels. I'm sure other artists understand how thrilling it it to have a beautiful batch of freshly crafted panels. This is a one of many charming Canadian churches. I guess churches and train tracks are becoming history here in Canada. Sigh.

624 The Parliament Building Victoria BC

Sold
This is the view from the Empress Hotel lawn of the parliament Building. I did it from a photo reference from last summer. It was a beautiful day. Sunny and a slight breeze. I love Victoria.

401 Blue Bridge November

This is Victoria's Blue Bridge. It is rather rusty as we are no longer maintaining it (the city plans to replace it soon). So I'm painting it to remember it.
Coincidentally, today I met a lady who called it "Johnny's Bridge", because her uncle John used to raise and lower it years ago.

I wonder if the new bridge will be as paintable.
