It was another heavenly day in Victoria. I was drawn to this beautiful spot by the fragrance of these yellow flowers. Are they broom or gorse?  This is a knife painting and it'll take weeks to dry.

This is one of my favourite views. I especially like the wild sweet peas cascading over the whitewashed wall and the blue shadows on the path. It was cold and windy today and the sea was choppy.

It was raining a gentle mist But I managed to paint this with an umbrella today. You could barely make out the horizon line through the mist and all the greens were bright and alive.

I did this out at Heritage Acres, Saanich Historical Artifacts Society. This old truck is a character in itself and was screaming to be painted.

496 Fonyo Beach Scene

This is one of my favourite painting locations. It's that overlooking the beach below perspective I like. I feel a bit like a voyeur. When I'm on the beach I never notice anyone up top so I guess those folks on the beach are oblivious to my presence.
What a lovely day. Quite windy but the breeze is not too cold. Look at those waves.

I painted this today at Whitty's Lagoon Park. The mosquitos were hungry today but it was worth it. I saw this gorgeous tree and knew instantly that I had to paint it.
