496 Fonyo Beach Scene

This is one of my favourite painting locations. It's that overlooking the beach below perspective I like. I feel a bit like a voyeur. When I'm on the beach I never notice anyone up top so I guess those folks on the beach are oblivious to my presence.
What a lovely day. Quite windy but the breeze is not too cold. Look at those waves.

It was the most glorious day at the beach. There were a few clouds over Esquimalt but clear on our side of the water.
Lately I've been studying color theory but when I began my painting I was like a child today and the theory went out the window. Still, I think it's a charming impressionistic painting.
