I did this little gem with the Alfrescoes today at Fort Rodd Hill.

This painting will take a week to dry. In the mean time I will put it on an auction for 7 days.  If it doesn't sell on auction I'll then bring it to the causeway and sell it.

I did this today in my friend Bonny's garden. I find it a bit too messy and might adjust the lights and darks when it's dry enough. Looks best from a distance. :)

I went to a paint out near the Chinese Cemetery today. Many alfrescoes showed up for the event. The landscape was just littered with them.

This morning's effort at Holland Point. Just as I was considering the title a gentleman observer commented that that is Regan Ridge across the way. A beautiful hike with lots of wild flowers. Just beneath the white peaks is Port Angeles. So this little painting covers two countries.

I've been neglecting my daily painting lately so I decided  to get back into little ones. Though they take the same time as the larger ones they are better for experimenting. Today I wanted to get good color  harmony and depth so I chose to do a little seascape. This is one of my favorite spots.

I painted with the Alfrescoes today at the Saltspring Lavender Farm in Sidney. It was the nicest and most fragrant place in the world.

I did this today as a color exercise. I couldn't resist painting the shadows before the end of the painting and I had to keep changing them. Argh!
