858 Amazing Carnations, oil on board, 6x6

These carnations are amazing. This is at least the third painting I've done of them. I've kept them in the fridge between painting them. I've still got those pavement flowers from two weeks ago in the fridge. So I'll give them a go later today. I'm off to Bastion Square.

847 Red and White Carnations in a Water Glass, oil on board, 8x10

sold-USA
These lovely flowers have kept over a week in my fridge waiting their turn to be painted. Carnations are such reliable beauties. I've been looking for a new vase but I really enjoy painting stems through glass so even a dollar store drinking glass makes a nice vase for my purposes.

436 How We Met

sold
So this is the third jar in as many days. Each time I think the rendering of the jar has improved. I wondered about the stems...if I ought to have made them tilted towards each other like footsies.
Well, that's another scenario yet to be painted.
