Twilight Garden, acrylic 8x10
I painted this scene at James Bay Community Garden at twilight last night. Towards the end of this painting the sun slipped below the horizon and it was suddenly too dark to see the colors. Initially I'd intended to do a quick realistic painting to end the day. But these were the colors I actually saw. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I keep losing count. About a dozen pigeons enjoying a lovely winter day on my feeder.
