This is another bunch of sunflowers I got from the local weekend farmers market. I have a collection of different Mason jars. I really like flowers in jars. Especially the type of flowers grown in local gardens. Just such a homey feeling.

I did this yesterday in the garden. Someone gave me some poppy seeds and what a lovely varied assortment came up. We had a heat spell that lasted two months and the veggies just loved it. I just tossed another handful of poppy seeds into the bed. I want to be painting them into the fall. All the other flowers have gone but the bachelor buttons are coming back. and there are a few pink roses still.  I just love summer.

 I did this today from life. I love wild roses but they don't last long as a cut flower. The fragrance is like cloves. Intoxicating.
