1219 Fire Ice and Friendship, 8x10, egg tempera

I painted this scene in a larger format about 20 years ago. I have had so much interest in it lately that I decided to paint an egg tempera version of it in a portable size. I plan to paint a larger version in oil....some day.

1155 Winter Shadows, 24x36, oil

Well, I've finally finished working on this piece. There are a lot of lovely transparent glazes in this painting. I think it would make a nice Christmas card.

763 The Paint Pots

I did this at the Paint Pots. It's a place in the Rockies where there are depot is of clay and yellow and red oxides. It was so beautiful.
