1556 Last Night

 

Back yard last night. Looking out my kitchen window in the middle of the night. Moonlight reflecting off the snow on the roofs seemed to be glowing.

 I had been wanting to paint this view for some time. I felt intimidated by all those straight lines and perspective. Finally I couldn't resist any longer and decided to tackle it without using a ruler. 

I'm glad of the result. Though I might work on it some more.
