1116 Peonies in a Jewel Jar, 8x10, oil on board

Sold-Minnesota USA

These lovely peonies have been in this jar for a week! I started this painting last Sunday and finished it today. I felt like giving up every time I looked at them but felt guilty. They seemed like they wouldn't give up so how could I?
Well it's a sweet painting. Even if I say so myself.

Peonies, 8x10, acrylic

I just love the alpine rock garden at Beacon Hill Park. Here's those peonies again. Many people come by to take photos of these beauties. They really give pleasure to so many. Here's my interpretation of them.

The Enchanted Garden, 24x24 acrylic on canvas

My painting in the Enchanted Garden. I just started the painting.
Me painting the Enchanted Garden
The finished painting.
I spent the entire day painting a large plein air at Beacon Hill Park. There is an alpine rock garden that so inspires me that I have done at least five paintings there so far and still plan to go back again. It is such a lovely tangled garden with nothing growing in a row. It's just enchanted.
