Rising Tide, Holland Point Boxing Day, oil on panel 6x6in

Brr, it was cold down by the water this morning. As I was painting a passerby warned me that I was becoming trapped by the tide. No real danger....just wet feet and muddiness. Gotta respect nature. Was the tide that brought in those tree roots in the painting.
