Here's what I've been working on on the side the past month. I was using photo references for the room and figures but found that the figures are so dark in the pics that I end up painting them from my imagination. Today I decided that I will take all the major characters and replace them with figures from the French Impressionist paintings. So far I painted in the two ladies in the right foreground with two Renoir figures. I like the result so far.
I keep losing count. About a dozen pigeons enjoying a lovely winter day on my feeder.
