I did this at an Alfresco paint out last week. It was a rainy day on a fruit farm. Very pretty in spite of the rain.

This morning was quite cold at Beacon Hill Park but the trees were in full bloom.

A glorious morning in Beacon Hill Park. Everything was in bloom and all the creatures, wild and domestic, were cackling with joy.

Sorry about the glare. The night is still early so I will continue working on this painting till I drop. Tomorrow is set up for the Sketch Club Show and this will be one of my five paintings for the show.

This is one of the 5 paintings I've been working on for the Sketch Club Annual Show. I'm glad I photographed it for this blog. Looking at it in a new light I can see where I will need to work on some areas before the show.
I've been working on elements to give my paintings depth.
I want the viewer to feel they can walk into the painting.

Here's a detail of a large sunflower painting I'm working on for the Sketch Club Show. I like the way this painting is working out. But it is such a labour intensive painting I find it is testing my reserves. Argh!
